FAQ – DONATIONS

Procedure is simple. Within the form on the page „Donate“, please select monthly or one-time donation. Then, please isert the amount you wish to donate. You can select one of the offered amounts or write the amount you wish to donate. Then, please fill in the form completely and click on the button „Donate“. When transaction is complete, you will receive an e-mail with the confirmation of the completed transaction.

Minimum donation amount is 200 RSD. That applies to both monthly and one-time donation.

Maximum donation amount is defined by the daily limit for individual transactions of the particular card you used.

By selecting monthly donation within the form on the page „Donate“, you choose to donate a chosen amount to ORCA automatically each month. After you complete a transaction by using a form, you will receive an e-mail with the confirmation of the completed transaction and the notice that the same amount will be automatically donated next month from your account.

You can decide to cancel your monthly donation at any time. If you choose to do so, you only need to click on the link for cancellation of monthly donation that you received in the e-mail confirming the completed transaction.

If at any point you choose to support ORCA again, you can always do so at ORCA website.

ORCA is funded by voluntary donations from organisations, companies and individuals who understand the importance of our activities and share our values. By most part, ORCA is funded from projects that are supported by various donors, such as European Union, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Austrian Development Agency, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), World Animal Protection and others.

Majority of donors publish public calls for project proposals. When we assess that objectives of a public call are in line with ORCA’s activities, i.e. in line with ORCA’s Strategic plan, we apply to that call with a project proposal. This project proposal is then evaluated by the specialised independent committees formed by donors. If our project satisfies the predetermined criteria, donor makes a decision to fund it and oversees the implementation of activities and spending of the funds.

ORCA is completely independent civil society organisation and is not funded by the Serbian goverment. Our financial reports are transparent and available to all.
